Edúcate Uruguay is a non-profit organization that strengthens the public school system, specifically in rural areas, through a model that generates an affective and effective bond of children to learning.

Founded in 2009, it has demonstrated to be a proven solution to reduce the gap in the access to educational opportunities between rural and urban children.

Exploration Zone seeks to integrate new teaching-learning methodologies in the school in natural sciences, considering its multigrade reality, together with modern educational materials, motivating and easy to replace. It implements with the teachers, workshops and actions that promote challenging but achievable achievements, generating an identity of continuous improvement, improvement, confidence and pride in the rural school. It encourages the rural educational community to use technology to create a bridge to access educational opportunities from there. It achieves significant learning in the area of ​​natural sciences by relating the thematic content of the subject with the daily experience of each child, since it is from there that they can build true learning.

Each school participating in the project receives the following resources: Scientific experiment notebook, experiment kits, microscope, sensors.
